This is one of the most beautiful carafes I have ever seen! It’s extremely thick and handled being in the dishwasher extremely well. I get nothing but compliments on it when I have guests over.

This is a high-end premium quality crystal glass wine decanter.It is well-designed with thicker crystal, ornate in detail with a purposely and usefully designed bottle-mouth. It is impressive from the packaging to the design to the functionality.This is one you would probably only use on special occasions, it is opulent in the best sense of the word and such an excellent value for the quality received.Highly recommend

Dirty or defective
There was a Grimey and dirty adhesive like coating on inside. Soap and water soak did not help.

Changes the flavor of wine
I’ve recently started to drink more red wine and decided it’s time to start aerating. I could immediately tell the difference in taste. It releases the alcohol and leaves the wine tasting much more full bodied. I will never drink a glass without first allowing it to breathe and shaken up in this.The plus is that it also makes the wine drinking experience much more aesthetic.

Great gift or a keeper
This decanter came in a very nice black and gold box that would be perfect for an elegant gift. In fact, you could just wrap a ribbon around the box without wrapping it and you would be fine. Now, for the contents, the decanter has an ornate crystal look. Personally, to my eye, it does not appear crystal clear…pun intended, but it is nice to see on your table. It Is large and therefore has some weight to it. The base is very large, so if you have one of the fancy bottle stirrers for wine decanters, it will not fit on it. However, the design of the bottles provides a bit of aeration when you pour the wine into the decanter, and it runs down the inside and it is easy enough to pick the decanter up and rotate it around to aerate the contents.
