***update*** we’ve had this globe bar almost 6 months now and it still looks awesome and functions perfectly. Very very happy with this purchase!I received the globe bar today. It was really easy to assemble, all the pieces fit together properly. There was one very small imperfection in the wood of one of the legs, but once assembled it wasn’t noticeable at all. The stickers of the globe and on the inside look good, some of them don’t line up properly, but again, once it was assembled it wasn’t noticeable. I’m worried about the stickers peeling over time, so I think I might put a layer of clear matte modge podge over it to prevent that from happening. I would definitely recommend opening the lid very slowly, if you just yank the lid open I could see it stripping the bolts/holes or possibly ripping the lid off the base completely. I’ve been looking at these globe bars for years, and finally found it at a reasonable price. I paid just shy of $90 for this one, while the same exact one is advertised upwards of $150 by other sellers and on other websites. I’m really very pleased with it, it looks really nice. This is a christmas gift for my husband, so once it’s in use I will post a photo and update my review in a few months.

The item came with a scratch on one of the legs. The interior portion of the top half of the globe was missing the design on the perimeter (as compared to the product shown on Amazon) & peeled/bubbled in some areas. It is unfortunate that my item was delivered defected, unlike many other happy customers who posted awesome photos & left wonderful reviews about their items. However, the seller was very prompt in responding to my issues & concerns. They were extremely professional & made gracious efforts to provide a reasonable solution.

Don’t look too closely at the globe
I love globes but the globe I really wanted was over $200 and we just can’t afford that right now. So I went with this and I like it very much. Easy enough to assemble, sturdy. However, if you are hoping for any kind of accurate mapping of the continents or even the lining up of the papers that wrap around the globe to make up the map of the world, you are going to be disappointed. However, I don’t think anyone is going to look at this globe and try to find France or anything. Overall, it was worth the price and we like it very much. The colors are warm and the piece is attractive. I was afraid it might be a bit tacky but it isn’t.

I’m glad I bought this, but it is not high quality
for the money its a good deal, its not well made, but it is passable, people comment on it and like it, I wish it was a bit less janky but for the price no regrets. The cup slots are absurdly small, for no reason, there is room for them to be much bigger. The inlay on the inside was not lined up properly at all. Buuuut, hey, its pretty cool.

Great look, some defects
I got this as a gift for my fiancé. He absolutely loved it, and it was super easy to put together. However, there were a few things that were signs of a poorly made product. First of all, all the screws were covered in layers of rust that I had to scrub off just to fit them in their required spots. The very bottom stand of the globe had a nicely sized chipped off piece missing. On one of the wheels there was a piece of the wood that had fallen off that somebody clearly just super glued back on it.Although I absolutely love the look of this product, you can tell it’s pretty cheap up close. If you’re okay with a product that’s not super high quality, then it’s definitely great. If not, I recommend looking elsewhere! I’m satisfied with my purchase, I just wish there was a little more care put into the defects.

Looks Cool, Kinda Sucks as a Bar, but You Can Mod It If You’re Into That.
I actually like this bar quite a bit, but I’m taking a star off because the picture is misleading. First, you cannot fit a full size bottle in the side compartment (where the Captain Morgan is in the pic), only in the center. Second, the lid does not stay ajar like depicted. You have to open it all the way, which is more of a 120 degree angle than the 80-ish degree angle depicted.As others have pointed out, you cannot close the globe with wine glasses or a full-size bottle (even if it’s in the center). Basically, it is designed to remain open if it has either in it. If you do not want it to remain open all the time, be prepared to store only squat bottles or decanters in the globe, and no stemware. The only type of glass that would fit is something short (but not a rocks glass, because they are short but too wide). I remedied this by cutting out bars from the center section.Finally, the construction is cheap and the art on the globe is pretty misaligned, so while it looks really cool you will not want anyone inspecting it too closely, and you will not want to be trying to wheel it around often.So having written this review, I’m realizing that I only like this thing because of the modifications I made to it. Two stars.

Beautiful piece of furniture. Not so much for liquor holding
I’m giving 4 stars for its beauty, but I did have a little bit of difficulty in putting it together. The directions are only pictures. I am completely not good at putting things together but it did it! Just took me a while and a little bit of rework. Great conversation piece. Much smaller than I would like but I did see the size before ordering. You can’t fit much inside of it. But it’s beautiful as a piece of decor.

Not Globally-Inclusive of Non-Wine Items…
The photos provided by the manufacturer are very misleading. The bottles shown there are photoshopped or smaller than typical manufactured size. If you intend to place anything other than wine and wine glasses into this globe and still expect to close it, prepare to be slightly frustrated. (I lost a bourbon glass in the attempt!)Key piece of info: you cannot remove the tray mold inside the globe. This means you’re confined to its specifications for holding specific things (i.e. wine bottle and glass shapes). This wouldn’t be a big deal, but the manufacturer is alluding in images and description that it can handle other non-wine potent portables. And it can…sort of. With lots of trial and error. Still, I can close the lid and wheel it about my room so it’s not all bad. Just would’ve liked more for what I paid.

Great piece of decoration- love it
I bought this as a gift for my husband and he loved it! I managed to assemble it by myself without problems, which is saying something as I’m not the handiest person! I would say it doesn’t fit many bottles in, or very tall ones, but it is a great decoration.

Very easy to assemble with only A flat screwdriver. A bit small once assembled. The globe part looks nice is but slightly different than the pictures here on amazon. The rest of the artwork really looks like cheap stickers stuck on wood. I was not expecting to receive A future family heirloom for 140 dollars on amazon. I got what I paid for.

Nice piece, poor detail.
It was very easy to assemble. I’m not going to lie, for the price I paid for this, I was very disappointed in the sticker detail on the globe. The patterns and designs do not line up at all. It looks like a three year old stuck them on. It takes away from how nice this piece could potentially be.

Nice addition to my office
Ok… don’t think you’re getting a real old world globe because you’re not. However, this is a great accent piece that gets a lot of compliments. Thank t was easy to put together. There are some rough spots on the paper overlay, but it doesn’t bother me at all. I have it in my office so I can pretend I’m all posh and grab a drink when I want… as Hemingway said… “write drunk, edit sober.” This little gem helps me do just that.

I love this Globe Wine bar
I love this Globe Wine bar. I recently purchased a smaller dinning table and wanted to fill in the area with a cute little bar. I was able to place normal size liquor bottles in the bottom shelf and purchased “smaller” sized liquor bottles at a large liquor store for the top globe. I used my small wine glasses and shot glasses for the outside rim. YES, I am able to close the lid with the smaller sized liquor bottles.

Light weight but solid built. Rolls well. Looks great.
It’s small; that’s a good thing for space saving; bad thing for actually using. It holds either stem glasses or very skinny glasses. No tumblers. The bottom section holds up to four 750ml bottles of booze. Or larger glassware. That said I actually love it. I keep my little bubbler water pipe in it with my weed pouch and an antique glass bottle for my whiskey.

Wish I has read all of the reviews before buying the 17″ model. I would have bumped up to the 18″ to be able to fit bottles inside the globe. I like what one customer did using miniature bottles, so I’ll give that a try for some value for the inside space.

some areas seem smudged, like the ink ran
Greenland and some other areas seem smudged compared to other areas of the globe (see photos). Not sure if it’s meant to look that way, but could have been affected by the heat recently. Otherwise, it looks good and serves its purpose.

I wasn’t going to order this based on other reviews but I am glad that I did. I received it today, it took ten minutes to set it up and it looks great. Most others complained that a standard size bottle won’t fit and allow the lid to close so I took a quick video comparing the different types of bottles that I had on hand. I am not sure what they were thinking with the glasses section because only a small champagne flute was able to fit in the allotted area and close but you can fit a normal sized wine glass stem in there if you do not care about closing the globe. Overall it is a beautiful little stand, easy to put together, shipping and packaging were done well and you can fit a decent amount in there. There are always flasks otherwise =)

globe has not so much head room for 750 L bottles
this is very nice but after I had it delivered to my home and it was assembled there was not enough height after placing my favorite size bottle 750 L in it, the lid would not close all the way close, I guess I have to buy a liquor decanter with proper style glasses to fit down where the glasses rack have slots formed cut outs for them. they will not fit regular whiskey glasses, but still a nice bar globe for the price.

Easy to put together. Some pieces with significant flaws that got worse (see photos…“paint” flaked off where it was “cracked”) but overall not terrible. Doesn’t feel like it’s sturdy enough to be moved around, but it will make a great gift. As noted in other reviews, top part of the globe might not sit well or close. The closing part was solved by making sure the continents aligned properly. As for the fit, the top part definitely is a smidge smaller so it won’t exactly look like a perfect circle

It looks so cool! But like other reviewers have mentioned its difficult to find anything normal sized to fit within this drawer. If the globe could fit something like wine bottles/glasses it’d be 5 stars. Something to note, if you add a few wine bottles to the bottom it has a tendency to try and tip over if you arent careful, but its pretty easy to avoid.

Honestly this isn’t incredibly sturdy, and it won’t hold up to intense scrutiny in terms of quality due to everything being stickered on. But it’s 100 bucks. I wasn’t expecting magic and it’s very cool from a distance in my room.I’d give it 4 or 5 stars if they didn’t photoshop the bottles and glasses in. I fully assumed that I could put glasses in and it would be able to close. It is not. I own low ball, high ball, crystal whiskey tasting glasses and none of them fit. You need very specific glasses with a stem and a low height top. Very hard to find but having the insides be basically empty definitely loses some of the cool factor. I knew my whole bar wouldn’t fit, but I definitely expected to at least have a good amount of booze and some glasses fit. Instead the sides are basically useless unless I want to grab tools and alter the thing.

Don’t hesitate, It’s Great!
I hesitated for a long time before buying this. I was afraid it might look tacky or cheap–it doesn’t. I was afraid it might be shoddy or difficult to put together–it isn’t. It arrived just about an hour ago and it’s standing by my comfy chair ready for me to go fix myself a drink. I don’t think it took me 15 minutes to put together, and I’m NOT handy. I couldn’t lay my hands on a screwdriver, so I used a penny I had in my pocket. Everything fit well and it was easy to assemble. The packaging was impressive. Everything was nestled and wrapped so that there were no scratches or other shipping damage. I’m glad I bought this.

Get a bigger one if you have bottles over 10″ tall.
As I lay in the room adjacent to my new wood globe wine bar stand in the still hours of the morning, I recount the events of my day leading up to it’s arrival. Work was grueling, the sort of day that tests one’s grit and leaves one feeling drained and in no small part on edge. Fast forward several hours, a few post-work meetings and a much needed nap later, when a knock at the door rings through my apartment as I step out of the shower. Still dripping and wrapped in a towel I crack open the door and peer outside. The delivery man casts a glance over his shoulder and nods, his face obscured by the shadow of the rim of his cap, and though I can’t quite make out the logo of the delivery service emblem sewn to his shirt I am acutely drawn to the elongated smile creeping across his face as he turns the corner leading to the stairwell. Taking little time to dwell on the disquieting visage of the delivery man, I bring my package inside, unsure upon initial contact with the box if what I faintly hear are the sounds of my calloused hands sliding across the dry cardboard, or a whisper from somewhere I can’t quite determine. It mattered little the source of the noise, for my anxieties were focused on the upcoming act of assembling the contents of my newly received drunken purchase.Apprehension slowly gave way to appreciation as the parts fit together with ease and with little need for the simple instructions included with the altar I hastily assembled. As the final pieces came together I was able to forgo the use of instruction as a knowledge of the structures workings crept into my mind as if from a memory long forgotten. Each creak of the tobacco-stain hued wood spoke of times long past and secrets long forgotten, and once the final piece of dark, weightless wood was in place I stood back and marveled at it’s construction. It is oh-so-small, as is to be expected of a thing 17″ in size. Standard liquor bottles are too tall for it, perhaps it would be better suited for something of the stature of a bottle of Blantons or Knob Creek? “No matter”, I thought to myself, “My stores of liquor are more than sufficient to fill this curio.”With a glass of scotch I sat in reflection of my achievement, marveling at the detail scattered across the globe stretched out before me. That’s when I noticed it. The hinge sat on the rim of star signs that wrapped around the circumference of the globe itself, and almost as if a direct affront to the very heavens they invoke, the most dominant signs of Aries and Capricorn had been covered by the arm that reached above the uppermost hemisphere to the northern pole atop this depiction of the world. No sooner than I realized this the walls of my apartment began to shake and the globe flung itself open, glass clattering about within. Recoiling in horror, I dropped the glass of spirits that occupied my hand as spirits of another kind all together assaulted my mind, and I fled my apartment knocking over the end table by the door in my escape.For what seemed like hours I skulked through the dimly lit streets, treating each and every sound as some potential unknown horror sent by this tastefully designed blasphemy’s creator to drag me back before it to answer for my transgression of its assembly. Down and down the streets and avenues I wandered, until at last I stumbled through the threshold of a familiar public house, one I have frequented many times over the years, and took my seat at the nearly empty bar. As my mind began to clear I was able to focus on the familiar voice of the bartender as he approached, but as he drew near I sensed a change in his voice. Looking up in hopes of discerning the cause of this shift in tone, I was startled by what I saw, and I fell backwards from the high chair. In a flash I saw it all as I came down: the unfamiliar characters scrawled across the bottles lining the shelf, the faceless patrons all sitting erect and silent as they turned thier eyeless attention to me, and the face of bartender, obscured from the nose up by the shadow of his hat, his mouth twisted in an elongated smile. All of these things bombarded me before my terror gave way to nothingness as my head struck the ground.I awoke in my bed only moments ago, the light creeping through the slats in the blinds as early morning approaches. No memory have I as to how I arrived safely back in my own bed, but through the crack in my bedroom door I can see it. The Goplus 17” Wood Globe Wine Stand, its lid closed now. From my vantage I can also just make out the tightly shut front door of my apartment, the end table in its usual place, covered in it’s usual items. Unable to move I consider whether or not it was but a restless dream that took me after a hard day, and no sooner than I accept this as reality does my courage-driven new mobility bring my attention to a sharp pain on the back of my head and the dried blood on the raised area thereupon. The lid of the dome shakes for a moment as a deep roar of laughter feels my head.

I didn’t assemble this, but hubby had it done when I came home and he didn’t have any complaints so it had to be easy. Color is a little orangish but that was pictured in description. Holds what it was purchased for but storage space is small. Had to find smaller items to put in it. It works and looks good. I like the wheels so I can easily move it when necessary.

Very good and well built. Directions are not so clear. Globe is small and won’t close with normal glasses on the side but that’s ok if you’re keeping the lid open. Overall we love it.

Great for the price!
This was a present for my husband’s 30th, and he loves it! We were able to align the outside of the globe pretty well, so the locations weren’t too goofy. It was quite easy to put together, and our parts arrived well-packaged with no damage. The inside print was as pictured-if you look closely, it’s nothing too spectacular and the stickers aren’t aligned perfectly, but the aesthetic is quite nice! He uses it for small scotch bottles, as larger/tall bottles only really fit on the bottom. I wouldn’t put tall, delicate glasses inside unless you plan to keep it open, as they may break when you try to close it.Overall a great purchase, and a far more palatable price than the real antique ones, which usually sell for upwards of $1,000.

It was very simple to assemble. Sturdy but not super heavy so easy to move around. I thought it was a great price for it. The one little drawback is that it does not hold most glasses inside the globe. The glasses have to be on the smaller size in order for the globe lid to close. But other than that, we love it!

Stemware required
This is an awesome bar, however, I prefer old fashion or scotch on the rocks. This presents two problems. Liquor bottles don’t fit in lower portion of bar. Second stemware is the only type of glasses that if inside the globe. In short it’s a wine bar.

I really like this Globe Bar.It looks good.It is small but we didn’t need it to be large.It fits ~ 4-5 bottles on the bottom & few short ones inside.

Missing part of the internal design but still beautiful
Beautiful, ad a small scratch on the inside mural but hardly noticable. The big thing missing is the internal design as shown on the add and in other buyers pictures. Missing the design on the rim of the globe, which is partly why I had wanted the cream colored globe with the blue contrast.

Very cute and easy to use, designed for wine
As pictured and adorable. It went together quickly and easily, and looks great in our speakeasy themed barn. This is, however, very clearly designed for wine, so doesn’t hold rocks glasses or more than one decanter, and I’m fairly certain the captain bottle in the display photos is a half size bottle. I bought a mini decanter set with the cordial style glasses and they do fit. Would still recommend.

Love the deep color, capacity, and safety for glasses
Like the color different a little than the description expectation which more red compare to brown.I will have to standing up to get access if beside a high bar/table. So if it’s near sofa it’s a little bit more convenient.The most important for me is its lineup so I don’t feel awkward to look at it that will drive me crazy.The other most important part for me it’s able to hold the wine glasses so not falling accidentally.Installation is easy but I accidentally broken the first one, I guess because of my strong pressure, better only use hand screwdriver not drill nor electronica screwdriver.Overall this is a very good choice.

Bought this as a gift to my husband and he loved it!! The piece came intact and i took 10 mins to assemble it. We love collecting antiques and this goes very well with our decor. Its small and cute and can fit any corner of your living room. We wanted a mini bar next to our couch so that we could serve ourselves a drink while watching tv. It can hold 3 bottles on top and 4 below. It cannot hold normal size of wine glass, maybe a smaller, shorter one will fit. Whiskey glasses dont fit as well.But it works as a perfect mini bar and i love the design!! Very happy with my purchase

Love this!
I really, really like this globe bar! It matched the decor in my living room and my kitchen! The instructions that I got were visual aids/pictures that for the most part you could follow; however, there were a couple of spots that weren’t really that clear which left me guessing until I got it right. Overall, when you do finally get it assembled, it is worth the hassle.
