My favorite ice for classic drinks!
I was torn between getting a large square or round ice ball maker when I found this and decided it was the best of both worlds. It’s easy to use, consistently makes excellent roses, and they absolutely add an extra special something to my Old Fashioneds and other drinks. It comes with caps for the top, and a funnel for filling it with, and has worked perfectly for me!

Awesome for bourbon
Works and looks exactly as described- fantastic! If you want to add a bit of sophistication to your cocktail, these rose ice spheres are perfect. If you prefer a drink, slightly cooler than room temperature, but not watered down, these esthetically pleasing ice roses work very well vs rocks/stones. They look awesome in a glass, and remove very easily from the mold. The melt is slow, compared to ice cubes, and a two finger pour of bourbon can be consumed with ease without undue concern of watering down the drink….or having to “throw it down – cowboy style”. The only criticism is the diminutive funnel, provided to aide in filling the mold. It does work as designed but can easily be misplaced, due to size; if it could self store on the mold itself it would end the “Where’s Waldo” hunt to locate it. Great product and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase it again.

I got a turkey syringe.
I found the safest method of filling this up wetas with one of those turkey injectors that looks like a giant syringe. It’s stainless steel and I use it to inject juice into the silicone. I let it set for about 5 or 6 hours and then dump it into my ice bucket and start again. Very easy to take out. The juice ice keeps my drink cold and lasts for a good while.

I ordered these to make “fancy” mimosas for the holidays. For Thanksgiving I froze the orange juice and we didn’t like that so for Christmas I froze the champagne instead and it worked out better for us. The shape was formed well and it came with a tiny funnel for easy pouring.

A bit of fun
I purchased this together with more types of ice making trays and they are all made of silicon. You really need to use the sieve to put the water in to make the rose or you will have ice formation outside the silicon mould. Not difficult to remove though, the roses look cute – I like making more cocktails now then before.

This is not only time consuming but messy. For the four cubes you make not worth it. Form leaks if not just done perfect no way to see how much has filled so run over makes a mess. Just not practical

Unable to use
The water leaks out. There are no stoppers/plugs so I am not able to make ice cubes. I will find someone with play dough, maybe they can use it or a mold for soap?

Works great for soap making
When I saw this silicone ice mold, I immediacy thought this looked like just the ticket to be used as a mold for melt and pour soaps. The two piece design is perfect for this. I was impressed with the way the two halves seal together. I had no problems with leaking. The thickness of the rubber is perfect. Even the tiny included funnel worked great for pouring the hot soap into the 1/4 inch hole on the top of the mold.I chunked my melt and pour soap and put it in a Pyrex measuring cup. I threw this in the microwave for 2 minutes. I proceeded to add a drop of peppermint essential oil (from Amazon, of course). After stirring this in a bit, I poured the hot soap through a tiny funnel into the two-piece, silicone, rose-shaped ice mold. I had no problem pouring the hot soap through the funnel.After my day at work, I came home and removed the soap from the mold. It was easy to push it out of the mold and didn’t stick at all. I thought the rose shape worked quite well for soaps. The tiny amounts of soap that remained on the tray were easily removed and it was ready to go again.This is a well made product that worked even better than I’d imagined.
