Great for swallowing therapy
I use these under the tongue to keep the tongue tip on the palate for my swallowing patients. They are sturdy enough that biting on them repeatedly will not break them.

These are not 5.5 inches, they are only 5. I was very disappointed when they came because they are far too short for the glasses I use them in. Sent them back for longer ones.

Stir sticks, batteries not included
These stir sticks, man, do they STIR LIKE A BOSS! I mean, they don’t “actually” stir your tea, coffee, or Metamucil on your behalf. You do have to hold the small, plastic septor and twirl it around in the beverage to incorporate the ingredients, but it sure as shootin’ beats sticking a vulnerable finger into a piping hot mug of java.As a bonus, these are also fully functioning straws, However, you may need a few of them to get any satiable amount of liquid, unless you’re Ralph S. Mouse, in which case I’m not sure your mouth is designed for sucking liquid energy through a straw (or that you need it, frankly).I scored this low for “flavor.” They have absolutely no flavor if you’re just licking off the beverage remnants clinging to the straw after use due to its unique characteristic of capillary action. I haven’t tried to eat them, so I can’t provide any helpful insights on that front.

So it’s advertised as 5.5 inches long but when I received it, the coffee stirrer measures 5 inches. Do they make a 5.5 inch long stirrer or does someone not know how to measure? Other than being just a bit smaller in length, not going to return them

Fun little stirrers
I initially got these for both my coffee and to replace the awful paper straws my favourite vietnamese milk juiceboxes came in. Cant stand paper on my tongue. (Power to those who do.) Dont do metal, so silicone and plastic it is. I have weird sensory issues. That aside…I have a lot of fun using them for my coffee stirrring and even keep reusing them for cups throughout the day/other hot powdered mixes, and the milk in the same day. So, i’m not just blowing through straws.Theyre a bit short for the boxes, sadly, but I can manage. Better than soggy, tacky paper anyday.Plus I got a LOT for the price. Feels nice. I wont have to restock for a Looooong time.

Straw is not the length as described in the description. The sipper straw measures 5” and NOT 5.5″ as in the description. I would have ordered the longer straw (7″) if I had known the correct measurement was 5″. I will not return this product, but I will use the straws. I will NOT purchase this item again.

RevisedReview: The company contacted us and our problem with the product was resolved. Terrific customer service!We have been ordering these consistently over the years. This particular batch, however, is shorter than previous versions. They are barely long enough to go over the top of a coffee cup, which is a disappointment. My guys use them all the time
I work with a bunch of grown men in construction that think using forks and spoons to stir their coffee is a great Idea so I got on Amazon and ordered the stiring straws. And I told them if I catch them using anything other then these staring straws I will throw their coffee maker away and after that I never had a problem walking in my office needing a spoon or fork for my lunch ever again.

I wish I had known how short these were. If it’s just for stirring, then these are excellent which is why I gave them 5 stars. Easy to stir and sturdy. But to use as a straw in a cup 8oz or more is a waste. I am going to order more for at least 16oz sized cups.

Great Cocktail/Coffee Straws
These are just what I needed. I previously ordered 6 inch straws that ended up being too big around, basically regular straws shortened, that did not meet my expectations. These are the kind of straws a restaurant bar uses, which is what I needed all along. They are sturdy and durable as opposed to the cheesy paper straws. They were priced fairly and arrived in a timely manner.

Sturdy straws
We work in a manufacturing plant and these are perfect for our coffee and tea. We have purchased the wooden ones and those tend to have a taste to them. These made in plastic do not.
