Well worth the money.
If you like your drink chilled but not watered-down you will enjoy these. I spend the extra money for good quality whiskey and don’t want it to be half water. My daughter bought me some of these a few years ago and I use them all the time. I bought these as a White Elephant gift and they were already wrapped up like a present when delivered. One of the more popular gifts this year.

Great value
I bought these stones for my husband’s birthday to keep his whiskey cool, and it does the trick. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is it only seems to keep cold 30 min or so even after being in the freezer all day (he uses about 6-8 at a time per drink). Bonus: you can also use these in white wine, or any other drink you don’t want ice to melt in.

I love the concept and they work really good, I would definitely recommend trying this out if you like to make drinks at home and feel a little fancy! It helps to not water your drink down if you like to sip on it as well!

Overall,v they’re worth it
These are nice, and small. I got them for someone who ices his wine. They are heavy, so they don’t work for his flimsy wine glasses, but a thicker glass would be safe. That tend to freeze to the container that they come in, so put them in something else before chilling them

Disappointed
Bought these for my husband for father day so he can enjoy his whiskey without ice cubes watering down his drink. If it’s just whiskey straight a single they are ok. But if it’s a mixed drink of any short then they don’t work well.

I purchased this item and have tucked it away for a Christmas stocking for 2022 so I am unable to give my opinion on the ‘easy to clean’ and ‘flavor’ areas (hence the overall score of a 4). I will say shipping was super speedy and after carefully unwrapping the package, the item is exactly as shown. I was able to rewrap the package as the wrapping paper is so darn cute and perfect for the whiskey stones. Fingers crossed my husband will think these whiskey stones are perfect.

I needed 5 cubes to get a little chill on bourbon.
I received 12 cubes, they are small. I must use five cubes to get a little chilled with my drink. I guess I was expecting to use one or two cubes to get the appropriate chill effect.

Just Don’t
I am normally very good about reading several reviews on a product before making a decision. However, this time I rushed it and saw the 4.5 stats and assumed this was a great product.The truth is, these are lame. While thur look great and the idea is pretty cool, they do not do nothing to cool down a drink.It makes sense though, you are essentially freezing rocks and expecting them to retain that frozen temperature. However, as you can imagine, they warm right back up as soon as they are left for a few seconds in the air or in a drink.I strongly suggest looking elsewhere and assume all marble cubes are going to be just as terrible.

Not cold for long
These rocks look really cool, but the effect doesn’t last long at all. I put them in the freezer for about 2 days before i used them, they didnt do much to cool my beverage, instead they kinda kept my drink at the slight chill for about 20ish mins. Once i finished my 1st drink the rocks were room temp, not good if you want to reuse them instantly, or if you enjoy sipping your beverage. The packaging was really nice! would make for a great gift, but wouldnt expect much use out of them.

Perfect size and easy to clean!
I bought these as a birthday gift for my husband. He loves how he can use as few as he wants without taking a ton of glass space, but still keep his drink of choice cold without watering it down. They are quite easy to clean and he loves that they have their own bag to keep freezer scents out of the rocks.

Nice but doesn’t keep the drink cold.
I saw some of the reviews but bought these anyway. They don’t cool room temperature whiskey to cold. If your whiskey is already cold, they may help keep them cold but I typically store my spirits at room temperature. They are easy to clean and the bag that comes with them is nice to put in the freezer and keep them all together. They don’t affect the taste in my opinion but the main purpose for me was to keep it from watering down the whiskey as ice does. I would recommend metal as they tend to do a better job of cooling and keeping cool drinks.

Look great but don’t waste your money
I bought these as a gift for my dad only to find out months later that he’s tried and tried, but the whiskey stones don’t do what you expect them to do. It makes a nice look to your glass as you drink, but they do NOT chill the drink in any way. We’ve tried different methods when freezing them — both drying first or putting in freezer when still wet from cleaning and it does not matter. It’s too bad.

After one evening of use several of them have cracked and a few others have slivers that totally broke off and were left in the bottom of my glass. Nice concept – terrible actual product. I already tossed the packaging so can’t return but definitely do not recommend and will be replacing ours with something better.

expectations….
Im very happy with the product over allif youre drink is already chilled its great. it wont work as fast or as well as ice… but it looks nice…… chill ur acohol … and other parts to the cocktail, and you will be happyputting it into warm whiskey will not make the whiskey cold tho.. so just chill it and be a badass with actual rocks in ur glass

Does not cool warm beverage
These work to keep a cold beverage cold longer, but they do not work to make a room temp beverage cold. I used 6 cubes to 1 oz of room temp whiskey, and it dropped a couple of degrees but not enough to chill it. However they do work to keep already chilled beverages cold longer without diluting them, and they are a fun touch with a good whiskey. Very giftable and easy to care for…rinse and freeze!

Great if you enjoy cold whiskey
I gave this as a gift to a friend who is super into Whiskey. One of his main complaints was that he enjoyed cold whiskey but it would water down after a while since he likes to take his time drinking it.I found this product which was an amazing solution!Just pop these bad boys in the freezer and use it when you get the chance and take them out when there’s some whiskey, and you’ll get that cold refreshing feeling.For the price point I’d say it’s definitely worth it since they last forever, and are very easy to clean!10/10 Purchase and would buy again as a gift for another whiskey drinker!

Not only does using this product keep your drink from being watered down, but it saves room in the freezer (I bought a few of these after I tried the first set.) Also, my mother has limited intake of fluids due to COPD and ice cubes add water.

Doesn’t get cold
Bought these after seeing a few videos on whiskey stones, they’re a great idea in theory. However in practice, it just doesn’t work. They do not cool your drink whatsoever. I keep them frozen at 0°F for weeks and put 6 of them in a drink that is already chilled, it does absolutely nothing. In a drink at room temperature, it still does nothing. I don’t know if this is because of the specific stones or if it is whiskey stones in general. However, I’m just sticking to normal large molded ice cubes that work 100x better. I’ll put up with the dilution considering it actually cools my drink. Only reason it’s not 1 star is they look cool.

However it doesn’t keep your whiskey cold as ice would. Kept it cool but not cold. So it’s a mixed bag. Nothing is as good as ice. But perhaps if you had the whiskey chilled and then used the stones that would work better

The raw stones could be better quality
Found some (natural) cracks in some of the cubes which will soon result in them breaking after a couple of freezing cycles. I would have also expected better polishing quality. But they came in a nice box, nice wrapping and a lovely pouch for keeping them in the freezer and presenting them.

Prefer Ice
These stones are a great idea for someone who likes their whiskey straight. I like mine with coke and the stones do not keep a glass of whiskey and coke cold. I even put all 12 in and it just made the glass heavy and turned it into a workout. I’m going to stick to my Death Star ice balls. I’m giving these stones to my friend who hates that I “ruin” my whiskey with coke!

Beautiful presentation, poor performance
I gifted these to a relative for christmas and they have followed the directions on washing and storing but they do not get cold. Or perhaps dont freeze cold enough to cool the whisky, bourbon, etc that they are put in. Disappointed as now I have to find another set to give them so their gift isnt wasted on something that doesnt even work. However, 5 stars for the presentation! These come gift wrapped beautifully and look very high priced. Just wish the performance matched the presentation.
