It’s not a miracle product
What I like: overall appearance and the strainer which keeps the ice above the level of water from ice melt.What I don’t like: despite glowing reviews about how it keeps ice from melting, it doesn’t. Sitting on my kitchen counter, ice lost half its volume to melting in 3 hours without the lid being removed even once. So nothing special. Second undesirable trait, I should have picked up from the pictures: it requires two-hands to pick it up, since it has two small side handles rather than a swinging bucket handle. Since I should have noted that, I didn’t take a star off for that, but it’s inconvenient and awkward.

The lid fits perfectly
The lid fits perfectly. The reviews that say otherwise either got a defective product, or maybe their lid was bent? Ice kept well in 88 F heat better than expected. Even when people kept the lid off since they don’t know how ice works during a heat wave, the ice didn’t melt immediately. The knob of the lid can also be unscrewed to clean under it if need be. I’ve cleaned this 3x and so far no rust stains to be seen whatsoever. The included scoop is very sturdy and I have even used it to hack apart stuck ice cubes from my freezer. So far, I’m very happy with this ice bucket.

finger prints
I read a review of this item before I purchased two of them. The other review mentioned how the stainless steel gets a lot of finger prints on it. I thought maybe the person doing the review was hyper-critical but I have to second that review. The ice bucket is heavy duty, double insulated and I really like them. I think they will last a long time. If you just use it once in a while when guests are coming over fingerprints are probably a non-issue. We use two of these every day in our Airbnb’s and I actually have to polish them with glass cleaner every single day to get the fingerprints off. Probably not a big enough deal to not purchase this quality product but you will get fingerprints.

Excellent Product for the Price – Works Surprisingly Well
This product does it’s main job very well – keeping ice cold and insulated. Ice can be left in the product for hours and hours without it becoming watery and melted. I have kept ice in the bucket for over 6 hours with no noticeable change to the ice. No doubt you could keep ice even longer if you froze the bucket beforehand, as well.For example, chilling it before leaving it outside during a hot summer day will still allow you to keep ice cool for hours! I would not have expected that degree insulation prior to purchasing this.Overall, very impressed that this product does it’s job so well for it’s price. Only downside is that the stainless steel leaves finger prints very easily. Not a big detractor for me, as I use this more for utility over looks, but people looking to use this as a decor item should keep that in mind.

Happy with new Ice bucket
I wanted to get a nice looking ice bucket, and picked this to try. I am very happy with it. It keeps the ice cold for several hours. In addition, the metal ice scooper that comes with it is very nice. It even has separate tongs too. My parents saw it, and asked about it, as they liked the way it looked. The strainer that goes at the bottom of the bucket does move when first putting ice in, but it does allow the water to collect under the ice and it is easy to clean. I recommend it.

I like it, it’s beautiful and sturdy, I know it states the size in the description, I just wish it was a bit bigger. I use it for small church gatherings and it’s just not big enough.

Keeps ice frozen
The ice cubes from my fridge are small and melt quickly. So, I made ice cubes for a party using larger cubes. I like the drain thing n the inside. Bucket of ice stayed frozen for hours. I received many compliments. Thinking of buying more for Xmas gifts.

One Use
We got to use the ice bucket once. When I went to wash it by hand the holders on the side literally snapped off. Bad weld job or glue job? The ice stayed frozen for a long time though. I am disappointed it broke after just one use.

Very nice ice bucket.
What a great ice bucket !! My husband put it in the freezer before a party and then filled it with ice. We refilled 2times and then left it out over night. The ice that was left in the bucket was still frozen the next morning. Nice to have tongs included. The only issue we had was with the strainer. It kept flipping over when filling the bucket kicking some of the ice back out. Maybe if we had placed a few pieces in The bottom to start with and then gently filled it up, that might not have happened. We will try this another time. Looks great on the bar too.

I was looking for a stainless steel ice bucket that was stylish and large enough to be used to chill a bottle of wine but small enough to be used for ice at an intimate gathering. This one fit the bill perfectly. It is very attractive, well built, and fits well into a plant stand for table side use. It was very reasonably priced and included an ice scoop and tongs. Sleek stainless steel
I bought this as a gift for my mother because she tends to just put ice in a big bowl so she doesn’t have to pull out her old 80’s ice bucket. This one is stainless steel and very sleek and will look great with her stainless steel appliances. I only unpackaged it enough to take a close look at it and make sure all the pieces were there and it wasn’t damaged, I haven’t used it. It looks great and I’m excited to see her reaction to it. I will come back and update the review later after she uses it.

Stylish looking and keeps ice frozen!
We were hosting a day after our daughters wedding picnic at our house & needed a new ice bucket that would keep ice for an extended amount of time. After researching several others, I decided this one stood out from the others with the double wall insulation & the strainer plate that separates the ice from the melted ice, so the ice don’t end up in a big clump. It also came with a scoop & tongs, both are useful to have. This ice bucket did not disappoint on Sunday, we had over 55 people it was 85* outside. The ice kept for the 8 hour duration of the party and longer. There was no condensation on the outside of the bucket, proving how well insulated it is. I really like it & I will use it often as we have a basement bar & host several parties!

Quality construction, looks great, does an amazing job of keeping ice frozen
I bought this for my office that only has a mini-fridge and no ice maker. I stop by that “popular southern chicken place where its always their pleasure to serve you” and buy a bag of their fancy nugget ice for about $1.50 on the way in to work every few days. I store it in this ice bucket on the counter for easy serving, and at the end of the day I put the bucket in the mini-fridge to extend the ice shelf life. I can easily get 3-4 days out of a batch before it all melts, which is better than I expected after really only having experience with cheap ice buckets in hotel rooms. Its really helped my water intake to have ice on hand- no more buying a soda to get a cold drink at the office!

Elegant and Durable
I recently bought one of those countertop ice maker machines but it requires that ice be transferred to the freezer and it only holds a couple cups of ice at a time. This was a wonderful solution. I keep it in the freezer, so when I wake up in the morning, I have ice ready to use for my iced coffee! So far, so good. I love the super heavy duty ice scoop it comes with (metal, stainless steel) and the product seems to be very durable. I love that it has a rack at the bottom so that any ice that melts drips to the bottom, keeping the rest of the ice in shape. Highly recommend!

Good quality finish and feel
Just received this lovely ice bucket! It was well-packaged and arrived with no problems. The stainless steel finish is flawless and it feels like a quality piece with insulative value. Arrived with a scoop, strainer for the bottom to keep ice above the melt line, a lid and tongs. I’m looking forward to using it when next I have company.

The ice bucket arrived in good condition and in a timely manner. I have only used this once to test it with a full bucket of ice. It performed quite well. I had ice for about 8 hours with a minimum of water at the bottom. The outside of the bucket did get cool to the touch but no condensation formed.

Functional, high quality and sleek.
This is a quality product! We have used it twice for 4+ hours each. Minimal ice melted and the strainer was a nice feature to keep the ice fresh. Very easy to clean as well. The only improvements I would recommend are to make the edges of the lid and strainer more dull and add a hook/area of some sort to hang the tongs and/or scoop.

It works, it does what it’s supposed to. Here are my complaints:1. The disk that holds the ice off the bottom isn’t secured, so it’s easy for it to be displaced.2. Not best for the hottest temperatures outdoors. I am in southern Nevada and when the temps are above 103 or so, the bucket needs to put in an ice cooler to keep the contents solid.I would definitely recommend.

Sturdy, sleek, and does what it’s intended for. I put the bucket in the freezer for an hour prior to use and the ice stays frozen for several hours. When done, I just wipe it dry and there are no water marks. I wish they would forgo the ice scoop (too big to effectively get ice out) in exchange for a bit sturdier set of tongs.

Beautiful ice bucket. Love the accessories. The strainer really keeps the ice drier as it melts instead of it sitting in water. I used this about 3 times so far and I absolutely love this. It looks nice and it keeps ice for quite some time without melting. I did test it the first day I received I received it and it did keep the ice until the next day, it did melt and had some water at the bottom, but thats expected. I am happy with this purchase.

Mixed thoughts
At a major hotel chain, where I often stay, they don’t have good ice buckets. So this is one I bought for those trips. Basing my experience with other buckets (including the underside of the lid), need to have better insulation. The tongs are on the cheap side and the quality of the scoop needs to be a bit better – same to be said about the strainer.As consumers, we have gravitated to Amazon, in part, because we are tired of being told that things are expensive because they “cost what they cost.” At the same time “Made in China” is a mantra that tells us that things cost essentially nothing to produce. While it’s true expenses are in sales, marketing, distribution profits, etc. – not making the item or related quality. Barware clings onto alcohol as one of the few bastions where the consumer accepts these massive markups. If they are going to do it, please do it right. Otherwise, the thing needs a far lower price-point. The idea of “volume” and its associated shipping costs are about as old as everything being blamed on COVID-19. Amazon can certainly assist when it comes to these costs, with their extensive delivery network. However, the customer service side was excellent – it has a lifetime warranty, which is easy to register. Given comparables on the marketplace, it’s competitively priced and the little thing is overall OK.
