Good mat
Great mat! It’s a sturdy mat perfect for my coffee grinder. Coffee grinds do fall and stick to the mat, so it won’t get everywhere but harder to clean. The material is non-slip too, so it will probably be good for other uses as well

Fantastic coffee station mat
My coffee and tea maker leaks a small amount when brewing, but it was expensive and I’m not quite ready to get a replacement. Plus, the area can get a bit messy when mixing condiments into the coffee or tea – so I needed something to protect the counters too. This mat works great for both holding the leaked water and any spilled liquid when mixing. Pretty much just rinse it off once a week and still looks brand new after months of use and abuse. Ordered another for a friend because they liked it so much, and would order again.

Great for under my Bartesian
I have a Bartesian machine and others have said that theirs have leaked. I wanted to make sure that if this malfunction occurred, it wouldn’t create a huge mess and ruin my bar cabinet. I decided to go with the lighter color mat instead of the typical black mat in the hopes it would blend in better. When it arrived I was very happy with the quality and color. Now I have peace of mind that my furniture is protected.

My intention was to use this to contain spills when I mix cocktails, but I now also use it as a dish rack to air dry bulky items that don’t fit in the dishwasher.

Very nice! Better than expected!
This mat is great! I use it on my coffee bar counter, so all the coffee grounds that typically fly all over the counter are instead deposited neatly in the holes in the mat, eliminating mess. It’s also very dense, but somehow not all that thick, so it’s still super cute on my coffee bar counter! Also pleased that I can throw it in the dishwasher to clean it (although I haven’t needed to yet). Love it. 🙂

What’s not to like
Works perfectly for our coffee bar. Wanted something to keep the coffee grinder on that would collect the occasional spill and not get everywhere. Easy to clean, just rinse with warm water. It also has a nice backing that grips the counter and doesn’t slide around, so one you have it down it’s not going to move until you pick it up. Trust me, this is the mat you’re looking for.

PACKAGE THIS BETTER
Package didn’t arrive in a foam envelope or box. Just the product, in a super thin plastic film. It was torn badly. Luckily this is a really solid quality bar mat and it resisted scuffs and dirt like a champ. Product is fantastic, packaging is garbage.

Good bar mat for amateurs like me to keep spills off the counter
When I say I’m an amateur, I mean I am and amateur. An amateur that’s a bit clumsy with their cocktails. Let’s just say the jigger gets most of the drink, but the countertop got more than I wanted.I’m sure their are plenty of bar mats out there that doe the job just like this one for less money. I personally like the heft of the rubber and the nice white line for a slightly more finished look.Clean with dish soap and water and the mat is good as new.

Has saved us from Coffee machine overfill already
Wanted to wait to add my two cents until we saw it save us from an overfill problem with our coffee maker. That has now occurred. We added a manual fill line to our Keurig machine, and found it way too easy to get distracted when filling the tank, causing several overfills that made a large mess. Even had water run into the drawers below. This mat just prevented that. The Keurig fits nicely and contained what would have been an entire 12 ounce cup with no water leaving the mat. A paper towel was all that was needed to draw most of the water from the mat until I could pick the mat up and carry it to the sink. Well worth the investment. And looks good on the counter, to boot.

Durable & professional-looking
Using it next to our Nespresso. My husband is the messiest coffee maker, so this catches all the extra coffee grounds, sugar and whatever else. It doubles as a space I can mix cocktails. Great, professional-grade drink mat! We have white quartz countertops, and it isn’t affecting them like someone else said about their counters. It’s just rubber or whatever. Cleans easily. Very thick/durable and sticks in place.

Manage your bartending spills properly

Heavy Duty and High Quality
Most positive reviews that I saw for Bar Mats were from a “name brand” or better known supplier. While there were positive reviews on Amazon for this; I couldn’t find much elsewhere. But, for the price, I decided to give the Highball & Chaser mats a shot. If you are researching bar mats and are looking for a thick, heavy duty, high quality mat; then this is the one for you. Why pay two or three times more because a Bourbon magazine didn’t review this one? I am here to tell you this is a great mat. One nice feature is that the back is made so that your Mat will stay in place and not slip around. Another nice feature is that it is deep (thick) and will contain your spills with ease. In addition…it just looks great. I ordered the 18 in x 12 in first; but was so impressed that I bought two 6in x 12 in mats the day after I received the other. These Mats are great and you will NOT be disappointed.

Great for bar area
I use this in the bar area of my kitchen. Great for mixing cocktails over your island with no spill. The sticky back keeps it from sliding all around your counter. Easy to through in the dish washer. If you make alot of drinks its good not to get one of these that has a logo-logo’s make the spill matt hold less liquid. Only thing I would like to see is a larger size for my island area.

Nice, heavy mat for pitchers and drinks
This is a good quality mat for pitchers and drinks. The nubs are thick enough and close enough together to support smaller glasses and pitchers without them toppling over, but the mat is still flexible. It is thick and heavy enough to lay flat, but flexible enough to adapt to counter contours without and unstable gap underneath. I’ve only used it with cold drinks so far.

Great bar mat
Love it overall. Please note that the mint green color might vary slightly. We ordered a second mat and the colors did not match. The new version is a bit more vibrant, so maybe the old one just faded over time.Also, don’t place anything hot on it or else it might warp. And, make sure to rinse off any substances that might cause stains right away, as they will absorb into the material.Other than that, these mats have been a welcome addition to our little home bar.

I have had a bar mat for several years. When I was unable to clean it even using a dishwasher I decided to replace it. This is the best bar mat I have had. It is easy to clean and seems quite durable. I highly recommend this bar mat. Stay away from bar mats that have small pointy tines.

Spills don’t go through to bar

Thick durable quality
Nice size and it appears to be made of a durable material that will hold up over time. The flat (backside) surface sticks well to the granite counter top so that it won’t slide. The bumpy material will definitely collect the liquid/drips from the coffee maker.

It’s worth paying a few dollars more and getting a better product. The first one I bought wouldn’t lay flat no matter what I did which was probably due to the fact that it was shipped folded in the package. This mat was shipped flat and lays like it should. Also a little thicker mat. Glad I spent a few extra dollars.

Awesome product
We use this item on our “coffee bar” for a variety of reasons and it looks good. One night in an apparent fog, I forgot to put the carafe under the drip and set it to start before we get up. The short of the story is that this baby held a whole, half pot of coffee. Clean up was easy. Although if you do have a good size spill to clean up, soak as much up as possible with a towel or paper towels. Don’t try to carry it over the sink unless you slide it on to a cutting board first because it is very flexible and all of the liquid will run to the center.

Love these!
I purchased these for two reasons: to protect the counter from the mess I make when mixing drinks and to protect the counter from the mess my husband makes when making cups of tea in the morning. They’re fantastic! Nice and thick, easy to clean, and the counter stays dry. I like the white border, too.

Simple, basic kitchen mat. I put this under my espresso maker to help with cleanliness but honestly more to ease the noise from the vibration it makes just sitting directly on the counter. Long story short, it’s apartment living and you (should) do what you can to minimize the noise. Electronics like this vibrate when operating, it’s a like little bass drum except it’s not rhythmic just constant and annoying and rubber mats like this one are fantastic to stop the annoyance for everyone! Be kind, stay neighborly!

Sturdy and easy to clean
Set this up under an espresso machine that’s used daily. Very easy to drain liquid from it and clean it. In spite of seeing many coffee spills, no signs of staining. Would get this as a gift for someone who does a lot of entertaining.

Beware of Warped White Border
I first ordered 1 18×12 white border mat and six white border coasters for my new home bar. When the large mat arrived, the white border was crooked/warped in two places (see 1st photo). As this really detracted from the striking visual look, I placed a Return & Replacement with Amazon. The second one arrived today and it’s even worse, with warped lines in three places (2nd photo). 3rd & 4th photos show the warps up close. The 1st shipment arrived in a soft, flat package and the 2nd one was bent in half when packed. The coasters are perfect and the quality of these mats is outstanding. However, I’m so disappointed not to have sharp lines that I’m considering sending them all back and buying something else…
