Very much what I expected
What you see is what you get with this mug. I gifted it to a close friend of mine, and he loved it. It can hold quite a lot, and was really happy to find that out. Most of the time with mugs like this you expect a pretty underwhelming liquid capacity, but I promise you this mug in particular wasn’t the case. Might actually have to get one myself now!

Extremely breakable
The handle is plastic, sure, but it must be plastic mixed with powdered styrofoam or something. This thing fell a distance of 2 feet from the ground and the handle just broke right off. A freaking Barbie doll would’ve survived that fall.

I’ve made mugs from horns, bones, wood and metal and this is amazing. It’s not real wood more of a hard durable plastic. I threw it just to see if it would hold up on a rowdy night of worship what with samhein upon us, and it held up with not even a mark. Easy to wash, easy to clean and holds a perfect bottle of beer mead or Alex to invigorate any warriors stomach! I can’t wait to show cheer to Odin this Hallows Eve!

Looks cool
Wouldn’t be a bad cup but has issues. Not real metal handles. The stainless liner allows water to get between the layers that doesn’t dry out. Causes nasty water to come out later while trying to drink from it.

It’s Pretty Good
I have 2 issues with this. They glued it down. I’m assuming they probably started cause the other reviewer complained because the metal piece came out. That’s a good thing, how else are you supposed to wash it? It has a felt bottom, not good for washing as one piece. I got the glue to loosen by adding heat, so fixed that issue. The only other issue is how thin the metal is. So thin, its a bit sharp. Looking forward to stitches in the future. Great job on the mug portion. First pic has normal coffee cup for size reference. It’s big. Second pic is of metal thickness. If you can’t tell, the knight cup is about double the thickness.

Great cup! But the bottom has felt, so it is a pain to wash. Otherwise, it looks and feels fantastic.If the maker sees this, maybe a silicone/rubber bottom on future mugs.

Plastic outside is disappointing but sturdy.
The inside is a stainless steel and perfectly useable, all of the outside is painted plastic. Thick and sturdy plastic but not dishwasher safe. Makes a good gift for the D&D player in the family.

Dragon Mug Review
My first impressions of seeing the mug after opening the box is that this thing is BIG! My hands are large which allows me to hold it comfortably. The mug has some amazing details. The nicks and scratches gives it a nice, weathered look that complements the handmade like appearance. You get exactly what you see in the photographs.I did notice that upon expecting the mug that the aluminum cup pop right off the mug! It may be a deal breaker for some, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me. The mug is a beautiful piece of art. I can find ways to glue the thing back together.Two things that you may want to consider if you’re planning on using this item. This mug is not only large, but it also has some weight to it too. My hand was beginning to fatigue after a few minutes of holding the mug while I drank out of it. The thick dull handle made it uncomfortable to hold over time also. If you’re sipping out of it and putting it back down, you’ll be fine.Overall, it’s a great piece to own. I would recommend this item to use as a display or for an event but not for everyday use in its current state. This would be a more functional mug if the handle wasn’t so jagged, and the weight was lighter.

Disappointed
Liked the mug, but one of the handles was broken off of the mug – considering that it was packed in solid styrofoam, I was surprised. Makes we wonder if bubblewrap would have worked better or even if maybe it was shipped already broken? Am going to try and gorilla glue it back on…

asthetically this cup is perfect, couple of things to be aware of, the handle has square edges that don’t feel great. I wrapped mine with leather and it looks and feels great. Does not fit in and cup holder known to man so it’s def a “stay at home” mug.

UPDATE: A little food grade craft paint (Posca paint pen, Dark Brown, sealed with Mod-Podge “dishwasher safe” with the blue label) makes the color more tolerable. I couldn’t handle the silver Viking ship any longer.ORIGINAL POST: I really like the design and graphic details of the Viking ship and warrior on this sturdy mug.My only complaint is that the color doesn’t look at all like the woodsy brown in the ad. It’s more of a silver with random black streaks giving it a goofy, cheap, pewter-ish kind of look.I’m considering buying a food-grade brush on craft paint to give it more of a wood tone to match the original theme of the Viking ship.

Perfect gift for a manly person

Great mug. Very solid. Just a tiny bit too heavy but not that big of a deal since it’ll sit on my table more than in my hand. The handle isn’t centered between Thor and Odin which is kind of an upset. The metal tin isn’t removable so you have to clean the entire thing as one piece and make sure to dry the felt bottom so it doesn’t grow mold.Not bad enough to make me drop to a 3 star but definitely not worthy of a 5-star review.

Worked great the first month
I really loved this mug, Mostly used it for my morning coffee on the weekends. It actually kept my morning brew hot longer that any mug that I have used. Sadly once my return window closed the stainless steel inner mug separated from the outer mug. so now it sits inside the outer mug and juggles around when trying to use. I plan on gluing it back together but at this price I would’ve hoped that it would have lasted longer than a month..

Nice mug, good quality. The only thing I would change is the metal lip where it meets the plastic. There seems to be the smallest of gaps. When washing I have to pay attention to this. If water gets in there, I am afraid it will eventually cause problems.

The horn handles are not as comfortable as a regular handle, but you are drinking from a skull. The wife dropped it and it did break in a few spots.

Beautiful mug, seems to be great quality so far. My only complaint is that it’s still way too small. What a shame. The pictures made it seems far bigger and while it did provide the dimensions, I guess I overestimated the size despite that.Wish this was a much, much bigger mug. 🙁

Awesome looking cup but…
My husband has been complaining about how he doesn’t have a cool cup so I decided to stop hearing his complaints and got him this one, the design is awesome! The size is good but there is a lip between the metal and the design that is hard to drink from and the design is separate from the metal so when I washed it water got in between and spills out while drinking. Definitely a future mold problem, also the bottom has felt on it but when washing it takes a while to dry. For next production comes around I suggest making the lip longer for people to drink from, sealing design to metal and not putting felt on the bottom, maybe silicone.

While the people I gave these to for gifts loved them I warned about my doubts they should be used for drinking out of. The stainless steel feels more like coated plastic, I suggest a better use is a pen holder or something along those lines.

You don’t sse these every day
These look great and nobody says “Oh ya I have theses same cups at home” they do say these cups are sick.They do ask, as they sip the whiskey I use them for, where did you get these cups?I don’t tell them (sorry to the manufacturer) but they either figure it out or suffer.There is felt on the bottom of them so I just hand wash them, no dishwasher.They are lighter in weight than I thought they would be, the resin is very light, in the photos they look to be very solid but they are not only the inside cup insert is stainless steel.Recommended.

It’s nice and hefty. On closer inspection it kinda looks handmade by the way it’s painted which I don’t think it’s a issue since it’s a personal preference. I got this as a gift and I think it’s really nice the downside is the felt lining at the bottom of the cup since it feels like it’ll peel off. Which a lil bit of glue can’t fix but overall it’s a good cup.

Really good product, made well, no missing color from the runes, sturdy. My only real complaint is that the handle is literally rough around the edges. That may be on purpose for one reason or another but it makes it slightly uncomfortable to hold like a coffee mug rather than my whole hand. Really my only complaint as I said, and that’s about it.
