Exactly what I was missing
Drinks are all about balance, and this makes it easier than ever. Clearly marked measurements — all 5 1/2 oz (or 3/4 for the long-pour version) shots for a Long Island Iced Tea easy-peasy. Cleanup is a quick rinse — off you go, and bob’s your uncle.

Measuring marks inside cups are hard to read, not well etched like the pictures in the ad. Once you know what each mark is, it’s easy to use.

Home bar upgrade
I already have a jigger graduated in milliliters, but this is America and all my favorite drink recipes are in ounces. The LAST thing I need to be doing while mixing cocktails is milliliter to ounce conversions, so I ordered this Briout Jigger. One end is 1 oz, the other 2 oz, and inside there are graduations for 1/2, 3/4, & 1-1/2 oz, so it covers all the bases. It’s a nicely constructed utensil with a nice weight and feel, and it pours cleanly. Although a bit small the graduations are clear, but after making about three drinks you’ll be familiar enough to know which lines correspond to the required volume. It should last the balance of my home bartending career, and I’ll keep the slightly smaller milliliter version around in case one of my guests requests a metric drink 😉

Easy to clean, measuring marks are a little hard to see
Good stainless always looks better in your kitchen or bar. My only complaint is that the measuring marks inside are a little hard to find if you’re not in bright light.

Bought this to replace the disposable, plastic shot glasses I’d use to make drinks. Easy to read and it’s better to use. It’s a bit hard to clean, but running hot water in the inside and letting it airdry helps.Definitely recommend.

Game changer
The Japanese have a reputation for taking an extant object and making it more efficient. This is no exception.There are a set of drinks that require a jigger, b/c the a half ounce more of one spirit will change the flavor markedly. But jiggers suck to use, mostly b/c to get the amount you need, the jigger must be filled all the way flush to the top, making it hard to pour into a mixing glass, nevermind trying to do it quickly. Oh and, let’s not even talk about the jigger having one side that 2oz, but you only need 1.5oz. Good luck.These jiggers change all that.One side is 2oz, one side is 1oz. The 2oz side has a 1.5oz graduation on the inside, the 1oz side has 0.5oz and 0.75oz graduation on the inside. If that’s not enough, their tall and narrow shape makes them infinitely easier to work with than your class 45 degree angle cone model.More expensive than a normal jigger, yes. Use these once, you’ll understand why, and you might even throw your old jiggers away.

Good jigger, but missing 1/4 ounce measure
This jigger is good, and easy to measure with. It does about what you’d expect. However, it should have a 1/4 ounce line. It would have been easy to do, and a decent number of cocktails use 1/4 of an ounce of something.I see no reason it was not included, and I’ll occasionally be breaking out my teaspoons to measure out 1.5 teaspoons of an ingredient.
